Hybrid

In the traditional cannabis naming system, the term “hybrid” is a polite catch-all that refers to both sativa and indica strains of marijuana. Although it is an outdated and basic method, it is nevertheless useful. The hybrid strains consistently provide similar results, according to Leafly reviewers, who also develop preferences for particular strains and kinds. Flowers are typically categorized on dispensary menus as indica, sativa, or hybrid. With a nearly daily increase, Leafly’s database already contains more than 3,800 “hybrid” strains. Only a few hundred sativa strains and fewer than 1,000 indica strains exist, in contrast.
